BEDROOM SPRING CLEANING WITH ESSENTIAL OILS

Essentials With Sarah Banner

A CLEAN BED IS A COMFY BED!

We spend one-third of our lives sleeping, so shouldn’t the bedroom be on the list for a heavy-duty spring cleaning?

Our skin is our largest organ and it regenerates daily, so your bed is the perfect place to use your It Works! Essential Oils for a cleaning refresh. Create your own freshening linen spray with a mixture of 15 drops of Lavender Essential Oil to every ounce of distilled water topped off with 1 tablespoon of witch hazel. I combine this in a glass water bottle and shake well, then lightly spritz the sheets before making the bed in the morning. It Works! DEFEND or Eucalyptus Essential Oil are both great choices for extra clearing comfort.

This time of year, I love to take all the linens off my bed and spray down the comforter and the mattress with a mixture of Tea Tree Essential Oil to really freshen and clean. Then I allow everything to air dry while the bedding is in the wash.

For weekly washing, I add a few drops of Lemon or Lavender Essential Oil right in with the soap to give my sheets a fresh scent without using fragranced fabric softeners or dryer sheets.

Finally, let’s not underestimate the freshening power of diffusing your favorite It Works! Essential Oil in the bedroom to keep it smelling and feeling fresh, especially between cleanings! I love to use It Works! CLEAR, CHILL, or Lavender Essential Oil because not only do these oils keep the bedroom smelling and feeling fresh, they also help promote sleep!

Keep your bedroom clean, comfy, and ready for a restful night’s sleep with It Works! Essential Oils!
