DIY ESSENTIAL OIL BATHROOM CLEANERS

MAKE THAT BATHROOM SHINE!

 

When it comes to spring cleaning in the bathroom, you might consider a deeper clean! This is one room that usually needs a lot of cleaning attention, and It Works! DEFEND is just what you need for that deep spring cleaning. This blend of Rosemary, Lemon, Cinnamon, and Clove will help leave even your toughest room looking and smelling fresh and clean.

Here is an easy recipe with It Works! DEFEND that can help you keep one of the most-used rooms in your house fresh and clean all throughout the week.

No-scrub Toilet Bowl Cleaner

• 1 cup vinegar
• 1 cup Borax
• 15 drops It Works! DEFEND

Combine all ingredients in a plastic bowl or bottle and pour all at once into the toilet bowl. Allow to sit overnight. In the morning, just flush!

 

One of the most versatile essential oils for cleaning is Lemon. It’s great for cutting buildup and shining tough areas around the drains and faucets. Here’s two recipes that combine It Works! DEFEND with the scrubbing power of Lemon Essential Oil.

Shower Spray

• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1 1/2 cups white vinegar
• 10 drops of It Works! DEFEND
• 10 drops of Lemon Essential Oil

Combine all ingredients in a glass spray bottle and shake well to mix. Spray all over shower after each use to help prevent soap scum buildup.

 

Tile and Grout Cleaner

• 1 cup baking soda
• 1 cup Borax
• 1 cup iodized salt
• 15 drops of It Works! DEFEND
• 15 drops of Lemon Essential Oil

Place all ingredients in a large, glass measuring cup and mix well. Pour into a large container with lid. Sprinkle on damp tile or tub surface and spread well with a brush or sponge. For tough stains, allow to sit 5 minutes and or spritz with white vinegar before scrubbing with brush. Rinse well.
